LX

The LX is the base-level trim of the 2022 Kia Soul, and a fantastic entrypoint into the unique world of this dynamic SUV. It contains a 2.0L Nu Atkinson engine, which is the same engine (along with its power specifications) to be found across every trim, even to the top-level GT-Line Limited. The LX provides a mix of comfort and advanced technology inside the bold design of the SUV. EX

The EX is your step-up trim level over the LX, and contains a multitude of advancements that make it well worth it to upgrade. 16-inch alloy wheels come on the EX, instead of the 16-inch steel wheels of the LX. While the LX just has halogen headlights, the EX diversifies them with halogen bi-function projection headlights. As well, the EX sees the addition of LED daytime running, positioning and projection fog lights. For those style-concerned, a rear bumper with silver accents and a gloss black grille with chrome accents are added (and seen in all subsequent trims). Interior upgrades include a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather-wrapped shift knob, wireless phone charger and more. Additional safety features added include Blind Spot Detection, Lane Keep Assist, Driver Attention Alert, Forward Collision-Avoidance and more.

The EX+ starts off by adding an extra inch to the alloy wheels, seeing 17-inch versions instead of the 16-inches of the EX. LED headlights have been added over the halogen style of the previous two trims, as well as LED fog, tail and high mount stop lights. A sunroof comes standard, allowing you to explore the wonders of the world around you from the comfort of your Soul. Upgraded from the cloth seats of the lower trims are a combination of cloth/synthetic leather in the EX+. The addition of a 2nd-row adjustable headrest provides even more comfort for your passengers.

The GT-Line Limited is the ultimate in 2022 Kia Soul availability, operating as the top trim line with the most features standard and available. For the exterior, sport front/rear bumpers, red sport sills and rain-sensing wipers are only available on this trim. Inside sees leather seats with a multi-directional power adjustable driver and passenger seat over the previous trims. Heated rear and air-cooled front seats are only found on the GT-Line Limited, providing perfect comfort in any Mississauga weather. Further to its sport style is the unique d-shaped steering wheel. Over on the tech side of things, blast your favourite playlist out of the trim-exclusive Harmon Kardon premium sound system, and stay abreast of vehicle info while staying attuned to the road ahead with head’s up display.
