LX FWD

The entry-level Seltos trim is the only model in the line with front-wheel drive, as its name suggests. Thus, if you’re looking to have the backing of all-wheel drive control, you’ll need to look at one of the higher level trims. Being that it’s a FWD SUV, this LX receives slightly better fuel economy than the three trim levels above it, even though they maintain the same engine. It’s also the only model with 16-inch wheels, as every other model has 17-inch wheels, aside from the 18-inch set on the SX Turbo. If you’re looking for a still well-equipped Seltos but with only a base amount of features, the LX FWD does the job, but for only a slight upgrade the following trims after the LX offer much more.

LX

All of the comfort, technology and safety features on this LX mimic the same as the LX FWD, but it’s in that drive system that sets them apart. This LX is offered with the exceptional functionality of all-wheel drive, an almost must here in Mississauga given the unruly weather changes across the year and the variety of environments across Ontario. The wheels have always been increased as well, with this LX AWD version getting 17-inch wheels instead of the LX FWD’s 16-inch options. If AWD is important to you, and it should be, this Seltos LX is a perfect intro option.

EX

The EX is where things start to really increase for the Seltos trims, with the LX trims just offering a base of features and a difference of FWD and AWD. This EX starts to add pieces like LED taillights, solar glass font windows, a sunroof, chrome grille, Sofino leather seats (instead of the LX cloth seats), heated & leather-wrapped steering wheel, smart key, Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist and so much more.
